Originally located in the extreme southeastern part of Cooke County, Bloomfield Cemetery was very near the Denton County line. Due to the building of Lake Ray Roberts, the cemetery was moved to a new site, Bloomfield - Jones. It is about 15 miles south of Gainesville. Drive south on FM 372 to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Located near the church. This survey was done by the Cross Timbers Genealogical Society in 1978 and an update was completed in May 2003.
