(Gustin) Wallingford in Dorchester, Mass., and his name was said to have been changed from Gustin. He is likely a son of one of Mary's sisters or other close relation, who was adopted, either formally or informally, by the Wallingfords. When Charles Wallingford wrote his 1942 Wallingford Genealogy he attempted to communicate with an Alfred J. Wallingford of 48 Sigmore St. in Boston but the letter was returned as undelivered.(808)

child 281 ii. Ernest Hiram Wallingford was born in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts 27 July 1881.(809) Ernest died of bronchitis, 11 November 1881, in Boston, Suffolk County, Massachusetts, at three and one half months of age.(810)
