Lenora4 Wallingford (Thomas3, Unconnected2 Families, Unconnected1 Wallingfords) was born in Maine 12 May 1831.(699) (The 1850 census gives her age as 24, implying birth around 1826 rather than 1831, but Gove Genealogy gives this date and agrees with age on gravestone of 26y, 1m, 14d.) Lenora died 26 June 1857, in Berwick, York County, Maine.(700) She was buried in a private cemetery on the north side of Pine Hill Road in Berwick.

She married Edmund Gove, 26 March 1848, in Berwick, York County, Maine.(701) They were both living in Berwick when they got married.

Edmund was born 30 December 1826, in Henniker, N.H..(702) (1850 census says he was born in Maine.) Edmund was the son of David Gove and Irene Arlin.

Edmund died in 1873, in Wisconsin.(703) After Lenora died Edmund became a farmer and lumber dealer in Little Falls, Wisconsin from 1860 to 1872. The Gove Genealogy says that he finally moved back to Berwick, Maine on account of his second wife Angelia Dearborn Tibbetts' health, but apparently went back to Wisconsin for some reason because he died there. He had three additional children by his second wife.(705)

child 257 ii. Irene Jane Gove was born in Berwick, York County, Maine 28 September 1850.(711) Irene died 8 March 1853, in Berwick, York County, Maine.(712) She was buried in a private cemetery on the north side of Pine Hill Road in Berwick.(713)

child 258 iii. David Gilman Gove was born in Berwick, York County, Maine 23 August 1853.(714) He lived with his grandfather Gove in Alden, Polk Co., Wisconsin.(715)

child 259 iv. Edmund Gove was born in Berwick, York County, Maine 22 November 1856.(716) Edmund died 12 June 1857, in Berwick, York County, Maine.(717)
