She married William F. Wells, 10 April 1861, in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.(422) William was a provision dealer and they were both living in Charlestown when they were married.
William was born 7 September 1837, in Cambridge, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.(423) William was the son of Thomas Wells and Nancy A. Thayer. William died 11 September 1905, in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts.(424) Charles Wallingford(425) places her in the family of Henry Wallingford and Alice Young, but Shackford(426) was unable to place her at all. He does say, however, that her father's name was Henry. This information apparently comes from her marriage record, which lists her parents' names as Henry Wallingford and Abigail Perkins. This couple can not be identified as yet in the genealogy. The only Henry of the correct age is the one who married Alice Young, but she doesn't appear with Henry and Alice in the 1850 census of Lebanon when she would have been only 12 years old. It's possible that her father never married Abigail Perkins and Mary grew up in her mother's household.
Mary Elizabeth Wallingford and William F. Wells had the following children:
171 i. Mary Louisa5 Wells was born in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts 12 February 18--.(427)
172 ii. Sarah Elizabeth Wells was born in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts 13 March 18--.(428)
173 iii. Abbie Anna Wells was born in Charlestown, Middlesex County, Massachusetts 3 November 18--.(429)
