She married Rev. Abial Moulton, 14 March 1820.(2251) Abial was born 31 May 1798, in Gilmanton, Strafford County, New Hampshire.(2252) Abial was the son of Rev. Avery Moulton. Abial died after a protracted sickness, 16 November 1885, in Stanstead, Quebec, Canada, at 87 years of age.(2253) The Reverend Moulton was a freewill Baptist preacher in the Stanstead, Quebec area, having moved there from his birthplace of Gilmanton, N.H. with his father at the age of two.(2254) He began to preach in 1825, and was ordained by the Stanstead Quarterly Meeting in 1828. He was pastor there from 1828 to 1880 while preaching all around the Stanstead area. He organized fifteen churches and assisted in organizing others. He baptized more than 1000, performed 400 marriages, and officiated at more than 500 funerals.(2255) Their children were probably all born in Stanstead, Quebec, or vicinity.
