1. Walter1 Antrobus was born say 1562. (If he were 25 when married) Walter died before 5 April 1614, at approximately 51 years of age. He was buried in in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England on 5 April 1614.(17)
He married Jane Arnold, 8 February 1586/7, in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.(18) Jane was born about 1567.(19) This is an approximation made by Anderson and the Sanborns and is based on date of marriage assuming she was 20 at the time, but on 2 April 1635 she was said to be aged 65 when "enrolled at London, with a certificate of conformity from the minister of St. Albans, Hertfordshire, as a passenger for New England on the Planter" [Hotten list, 45]. This would have made her only 16 at the time of her marriage, but that is certainly possible.
Jane died sometime after 2 April 1635, possibly in New England, at approximately 67 years of age. In the Great Migration, 1634-35 (1:68) there is record of her being booked for passage to New England on this date, however there is no record to prove that she ever came over at all. "She may have chosen at the last minute not to make the trip, or she may have died aboard ship. If she did make the passage to New England, she probably resided in Ipswich with her daughter and son-in-law", the Tuttles. In 1929 Sir Reginald L. Antrobus published extensive information on the Antrobus families of England, including data relating to this branch: [Sir Reginald L. Antrobus, Antrobus Pedigrees: The Story of a Cheshire Family (London, 1929), 12-13, 96-97]
Walter Antrobus and Jane Arnold had the following child:

i.
Joan2 Antrobus was born before 25 June 1592. Joan died possibly in Ipswich,
Massachusetts. The Great Migration, 1634-35 by Anderson and the Sanborns state that Joan's mother may have "resided in Ipswich with
her daughter and son-in-law", referring to the Tuttles. (1:69) She married twice.
She married Thomas Lawrence, 23 October 1609, in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.(20) She married John Tuttle, by 1628.(21) (See John Tuttle for the continuation of this line.)
She was baptized 25 June 1592 in St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.(22)
