1. Robert¹ Chadbourne was born in Preston, Lancashire, England say 1530s or later.⁽⁵¹⁾ He was buried, in Tamworth, Staffordshire, England on 16 December 1622.⁽⁵²⁾

He married Margaret Dooley, 28 January 1576/7, in Tamworth, Staffordshire, England.⁽⁵³⁾ She was buried in Tamworth, Staffordshire, England on 23 September 1626.⁽⁵⁴⁾ It is possible that Robert was the son of Thomas Chatburne of Elswick in the parish of St. Michael on Wyre, near Preston in Lancashire. This Thomas left a will naming a son Robert. There is no other evidence to support any connection however, so this is only a supposition.

Robert Chadbourne and Margaret Dooley had the following child:
