He married Joanna Andrews. Joanna was born 1657. Joanna was the daughter of John Andrews and Joane. Joanna died after 1735.

John Ford and Joanna Andrews had the following child:

2 i. Sarah² Ford was born in York, York County, Maine. She married Nathaniel Whitney, about 1705, in York, York County, Maine. Nathaniel was born 14 April 1680, in York, York County, Maine.⁽¹²¹⁾ Nathaniel was the son of Benjamin Whitney and Jane. Nathaniel died in Gorham, Cumberland County, Maine.
