Turdidi
Boil oil, wine, shortening and water together. Set aside to cool. Add eggs to flour, then work in cooled liquid mixture with spoon. Add more flour if necessary. Knead a little until a formed ball. Shape by rolling piece of dough into a ½ inch in diameter and 1 inch pieces. Fry 10-15 minutes - until golden brown.
Set aside cookies to cool completely - I set aside for about 12 hours.
In a saucepan, in a 1/2 cup increments, heat honey to a slow boil.
Quickly add cookies, a few at a time, while stirring to completely
coat. Place in a foil or metal open container for the honey to set and
dry on the cookies.
Can be stored in foil lined container for several weeks.
