Significant to find usage of Pierce as a second name outside known members of the line from Pierce Tennant. However there is an error concerning dates. See linked page.
Robert Pierce Tennant (b1910c)
m. Jean (b1910), s.Robert Pierce(Bobbie) m. Lorraine.
Robert(b1910c) was descended from g/f William Tennant(1868-1901)of Co. Carlow, my g/f brother. Robert's father, also William, moved North to Kingstown (Dunlaoghaire) around the time of the 1920 Civil war. Bobbie had a brother Bill plus sisters Marie Barton and Susan Winn. I owe thanks to Bobbie's widow, Lorraine, for this info.
