Summary - Tennant Genealogy Information - Ireland and UK
This section gives more detail than the initial Index Page but you should return to the Index Page to be able to point and click on the various sections. Created as a short cut to find specific people it has proved impossible to keep up to date, sorry!
Information is recorded in chapters as detailed below starting with Pierce Tennant of Aghade, my grandfathers grandfather and some of his descendants. Next is a chapter going back from Pierce to his probable grandparents. The Carlow to Lanark section is derived from the book of that name by R.D.Tennant a Canadian who researched the Thomas Tennant who emigrated from Co.Carlow to Lanark, Canada. The next section gives information about Aghade in Co.Carlow and the Butler family connection. This is followed by chapters giving data derived from the internet and other sources that may or may not prove to be relevant. Key:-"(a)", "(b)" etc indicates a separate page, (#) no separate page.
