Robert Dawson Tennant (1915-1999) wrote the book Carlow to Lanark which contains information written in 1880 by Thomas Tennant (b1804) son of the Thomas who emigrated from Co.Carlow in 1820 to found the Canadian branch. Many researchers have cause to be grateful to R.D.T.
