Photo of Frank Black 1863 OH 1927 CA and wife, Margaret (Current) 1869 IN 1932 CA, parents of my grampa Clinton E Black 1886 OH 1973 CA. Frank was conductor for the So. Pacific RR and lived on 1734 H Street near the station in Fresno CA having come from OH 1891, grandson of Henry Black who served in the Civil War. See Frank's 1905 biography in the "My Teeter Kin" file listed on TEETER KIN's homepage, under 'Contents'. Margaret's great grampa Clement West Sr was a Rev. Soldier from Dutchess Co NY unto Ulster Co NY unto PA unto Wayne Co OH where he made AP for pension in 1834. Clement West Jr married Rhoda Johnston and went onto IN. Margaret's father, Sylvanus Current (h/o Alice West) was teacher, Civil War Vet, and worked for the Penn RR.

The PYTHIANS - Order of Knights of Pythias, and related pythians. *** My great grama Mattie Aungst Robacker belonged to the Sisters Pythians of OH and IN; and other of my middlewestern heritage, to include Anna Current Dosh (w/o Wm) of Fremont OH and IN, she sister to my great grama Margaret Current Black (w/o Frank).
Ft Wayne IN; June 27, 1910: The Pythian Sisters held their annual election Saturday evening, and chose the following officer to serve during the coming six months ... Mrs. Mattie Robacker, mistress of records correspondence ... elected last January, retaining said position for a year.
Fort Wayne IN newspaper article of Aug 19, 1908: The Pythian Sisters' Social circle will leave the station on the 1 o'clock car to go to the home of Mrs. Dosh, four miles In the country, ... Mrs. William Dosh (Anna Current) lived at Fremont Ohio, aunt to Clinton E Black (my grampa) and introduced Clinton to Ophelia Robacker whom he married in 1912 having gone from OH to CA to OR. The Aungst and Robacker folk came from OH and went onto IN and then OR. Clint Black's father, Frank (RR conductor for So Pacific also demitted member of Pythians (Frank was married to Margaret, sister of Anna).

RICHLAND CO OHIO website. *** John Aungst was born and married here to Eliza Crunkilton and adopted Mattie (born 1867 Nov) who married Samuel J Robacker and had Ophelia who married Clint Black s/o Frank and Marg. Current Black.

website. *** The Robacker family lived here having come from Monroe Co PA. George (Jacob)Robacker was a dye and clean proprietor who emigrated from Germany in 1837 to America and married Sarah Eckerts and had several children, to include Samuel J who married Mattie Aungst.

Margaret Current 1869 IN - 1932 CA d/o Sylvanus and Alice West Current married Frank Black 1863 OH - 1927 CA and had my grampa Clinton Black 1883 OH - 1973 CA who married Ophelia Robacker 1892 OH - 1919 OR.

Marguerite Teeter Little sent me a photo of the marriage (5/22/1878) of Frank Teeter and Angeline Doll, he of Newfield at Ithaca NY. Upon Frank's demise in PA (around 1908), Angeline returned to NY and remarried a Joseph Bardwell in 1909 who died in 1910, buried Inlet Cemetery, Ithaca NY. I also found Angeline as Lena Marion in 1930 at Ithaca, living with her son, Merrill and family. Norene and I exchanged information and Norene obtained the marriage certificates for Angeline's marriages to Joseph Bardwell as well as Henry J ("Hank") Marion (1913). Although married three times, Angeline was buried as Angeline Teeter at Sebring Cem, Newfield NY (1864PA-1943NY). I found Frank Teeter in Broome County in 1904 at Maine NY and again found him and his family in PA in 1908 at W Branch. Frank died at the County Home where he also worked; and he may be buried at the Lymansville Cemetery. The picture of Frank Teeter below was sent to me upon my Aunt Myrtle Teeter Tafaoa's demise in August of 2009 by her niece, d/o John Teeter who died in 1998. Norene hopes to obtain the death cert for Frank. Be sure to visit Norene's site for additional data that is not on mine.

Without these two grand ladies and their efforts and works, there would much void and much that Teeter descendants would not know.
