Per 1910 Mercedes Leith b 1874, lives with John and Elizabeth Crunkilton Aungst at Crane, Wyandot Co OH, as a cousin. John and Eliz Crunkilton Aungst were the parents of Mattie Aungst 1867 OH 1940 OR who married Samuel H Robacker 1864 OH 1945 OR and had Ophelia May 1892 OH 1919 OR who married Clinton E Black 1886 OH 1973 CA and had Ellen May Black Teeter Cook 1917 OR 2004 VA. Also, (Ruthella) Ella Leith may have married a Mr. Laughrin and lived in Lima OH per 1900 when Frank Black and his wife visited as Sylvanus Current was on his death bed (father of Margaret Current Black). Am wondering if Elizabeth Leith was an Aungst and therefore sister to John Aungst who died in 1911 at IN, leaving behind his wife and daughter and two sisters then living in IN.

FRANCIS SMITH HAGIN b: 12 Feb 1816, d: 02 Apr 1883. Both birth and death were in Lansing, Tompkins Co, NY.

CATHERINE TEETER HAGIN (w/o Francis) b: 01 May 1822, d: 08 Jul 1856 was born in Tompkins Co, NY, according to the 1850 Federal Census, Lansing, Tompkins Co, NY. She died in Lansing, Tompkins Co, NY, according to her tombstone.

Both Catherine and Francis are buried in the Asbury Cemetery, in Lansing near the east end, adjacent Asbury Road. They married about 1841 based on the birth of their first child DANIEL b: 12 Feb 1842 d: 04 Dec 1928. Daniel was one of eight children. Additionally FRANCIS SMITH HAGIN was a brother of MATILDA HAGIN who married GEORGE WASHINGTON TEETER. In 1853 George and Matilda had a farm north and adjacent to Daniel Teeter's farm on the current route 34 in Lansing, south of Asbury Road.

Cath Teeter Hagin was the d/o Henry and Winchy Sly Teeter.
