Anna Kerkhoff married John Joseph Link. John Link was born on November 20, 1873, at Balltown, Iowa. John and Anna Link lived at Guttenberg, Iowa. John and Anna Link had seven children, Valeria Link, Loretta Link, Sylveria Link, Evelyn Link, Hilda Link, Elmer Link, and Marie Link.
Anna Link died in 1948, and she was buried in Mount Olivet Cemetery at Guttenberg, Iowa.
John J. Link, 91, of Guttenberg, Iowa, died Tuesday afternoon, October 26, 1965, at the Dubuque County Nursing Home in Dubuque, Iowa. Family and friends called after 7 p.m., Wednesday, October 27, at the McBride Funeral Home in Guttenberg, where the Parish Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. and again at 8 p.m., Thursday, October 28. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 29, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg, and burial was in Mount Olivet Cemetery at Guttenberg.
Mr. Link was survived by one son, Elmer Link, of Farmersburg, Ia.; five daughters, Mrs. Leon (Valeria) McGuire, Mrs. Ben (Loretta) Dorweiler, and Mrs. Albert (Marie) Bieber, all of Guttenberg, Ia., Sister Mary Annora, OSF, of LaMotte, Ia., Hilda Link, of Milwaukee, Wis.; 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; one brother, Andrew Link, of Dubuque, Ia.; and two sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Leitgen, of Lexington, Ky., and Mrs. Mary Roth, of Dubuque, Ia.

Leon F. McGuire, 82, of Guttenberg, Iowa, died Saturday morning, August 11, 1979, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Family and friends called after 2 p.m., Monday, August 13, at the Tuecke Funeral Home in Guttenberg, where the scripture wake service was held at 8 p.m. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Guttenberg.
Mr. McGuire was survived by his wife, Valeria; one daughter, Mrs. Burnell (Phyllis) Reinitz, of Guttenberg, Ia.; two sons, Gerald McGuire, of Indianapolis, Ind., and James McGuire, of Dyersville, Ia.; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a brother, John McGuire, of Edgewood, Ia.; and two sisters, Elsie Lutgen, of Edgewood, Ia., and Lucille Phihal of De Witt, Neb.

Burnell L. Reinitz, 78, of Guttenberg, Iowa, died Wednesday, December 13, 2000, at Mercy Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa. Visitation was from 3 to 7 p.m., Saturday, December 16, at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg. Services were at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 17, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Guttenberg, with the Rev. Harold McMillin officiating. Burial was in Guttenberg City Cemetery.
Mr. Reinitz was survived by two children, Gary (and Terry) Reinitz, of Fairfax, Va., and Mary (and Vernon D.) Rodenberg, of Gibsonville, N.C.; four grandchildren, Cody and Zachary Reinitz and Brett and Nickolas Rodenberg; and a great-grandchild, Ethan Reinitz.

Mr. Dorweiler was survived by his wife, Loretta; four daughters, Mrs. Delores Orzechowski, of Milwaukee, Wis., Mrs. Richard (Orvene) Zimbelman, of Oregon, Ill., Mrs. Arthur (Arlene) Skwor, of Cudahy, Wis., and Mrs. Kurt (Germaine) Stephan, of Thiensville, Wis.; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Sister Annora Link, OSF, 89, of Holy Family Hall at Mount St. Francis in Dubuque, Iowa, died at 4:25 p.m., Wednesday, August 5, 1992, at Holy Family Hall Infirmary. Family and friends called from 4 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, August 6, at Mount St. Francis in Dubuque. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, August 7, at Mount St. Francis Chapel, and burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Dubuque.

Elmer A. Link, 70, of Genoa, Wisconsin, formerly of rural Farmersburg, Iowa, died Saturday, April 19, 1980, at Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Family and friends called on Monday, April 21, at the Lake-Thornburg Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, where the scripture wake service was said at 8 p.m. Funeral services were at 11 a.m., April 22, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Genoa, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mr. Link was survived by his wife, Anna; three sons, Jerome Link, of rural Farmersburg, Ia., Dennis Link, of Nashville, Tenn., and John Link, of Des Moines, Ia.; three daughters, Mrs. Jack (Mary Ann) Eshelman and Mrs. Louis (Linda) Anderson, both of Des Moines, Ia., and Mrs. Paul (Karla) Pearson, of Genoa, Wis.; five grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Valeria McGuire, Mrs. Loretta Dorweiler, and Mrs. Albert (Marie) Bieber, all of Guttenberg, Ia., Sister Mary Annora, of Dyersville, Ia., and Hilda Link, of Milwaukee, Wis.
His widow, Anna (Schoulte) Link, married William Merlin Rutledge on May 29, 1982, in Genoa, Wisconsin. William Rutledge was born on July 27, 1912, son of William and Bertha (Thein) Rutledge. William Rutledge had previously been married to Agnes Helen Amsden; she died in 1978. William L. Rutledge, 88, died on March 28, 2001, with a last residence of Garber, Iowa. Mrs. Anna Link-Rutledge moved to the Guttenberg Care Center in Guttenberg, Iowa, in 1999.
Anna K. Link-Rutledge, 87, of Guttenberg, Iowa, formerly of Genoa, Wisconsin, died Saturday, February 22, 2003, at the Guttenberg Care Center. Family and friends called from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, February 25, at Thornburg-Hansen Funeral Home in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, where a scripture service was said at 7 p.m. Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 26, at St. Charles Catholic Church in Genoa, with burial in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Link-Rutledge was survived by three sons, Jerome Link, of Farmersburg, Ia., and Dennis Link and John Link, both of Des Moines, Ia.; three daughters, Maryann (Jack) Eshelman and Linda Anderson, both of Des Moines, Ia., and Karla Pearson, of Stoddard, Wis.; 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Lloyd Schoulte, of Guttenberg, Ia.; two stepdaughters, Julie Moody, of Garber, Ia., and Jackie (Allen) Meyer, of Elkport, Ia.; and three stepsons, Terry (Gracie) Rutledge, of Manchester, Ia., Gary Rutledge, of Decorah, Ia., and Kent (Diane Faye) Rutledge, of Brunswick, Ga.
Albert J. Bieber, 80, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, at his home in Guttenberg, Iowa. Visitation was from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 20, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Guttenberg, where a memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m., Monday. Interment was in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Guttenberg. The Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home in Guttenberg was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Bieber was survived by his wife, Marie; four daughters, Sonya (Fred) Bush, of Colesburg, Ia., Diane Bieber, of Cedar Rapids, Ia., Jane (Mike) Buchheim, of Colesburg, Ia., and Terry (Michael) Boardman, of Colesburg, Ia.; four grandchildren, Debra (Matt) Rider, Brian (Melissa) Bush, Stephanie Buchheim, and Matthew Buchheim; two great-grandchildren, Jacob Rider and Timmy Rider; one sister-in-law, Mary Bieber of Selby, S. Dak.; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, and four brothers.
