Marriage to Peter Winter.
Wilhelmina Gerken married Peter John Winter on February 14, 1911, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in New Vienna, Iowa. Peter Winter was born on March 25, 1886, son of Matthias and Barbara (Bies) Winter.
Pete and Minnie farmed at Adrian, Minnesota, where several of Minnie's brothers and sisters also moved. The Winters moved from Adrian to Worthington, Minnesota, in 1934. 11 children 73 grandchildren
Born to Peter and Wilhelmina Winter were 11 children: Alphonse "Al," Victor "Vic," Edward "Eddie," Lucille, Harold "Doc", George, Viola "Oly," Alvin "Bud," Stella, Marcella "Honsie," and Ila. They had 73 grandchildren.
Peter Winter dies.
Peter John Winter died on March 7, 1964.
Minnie Winter dies.
Wilhelmina "Minnie" Anna (Gerken) Winter died on April 3, 1967.

Children of Peter and Wilhelmina "Minnie" (Gerken) Winter:
Alphonse and Josephine Winter had nine children: Mary Ann Winter, Lawrence "Butch" Winter, Donna Mary Winter, Eugene "Gene" Winter, Robert "Bob" Winter, Raymond "Ray" Winter, Richard "Dick" Winter, Theodore "Ted" Winter, and Lloyd Winter. Donna, the third eldest, was born on March 15, 1942, at home, in Bloom Township, Nobles County, Minnesota; Dr. J. D. Waller was the attending physician. Donna died on August 31, 1943; she drowned in a stock tank at home.
Alphonse "Al" Winter died on June 25, 1969, at Sioux Valley Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, after having became ill with Hodgkin's disease in early 1966. Al was buried beside his daughter Donna in Our Lady of Good Counsel Cemetery in Wilmont, Minnesota. Josephine C. Winter died on July 10, 1995, with a last residence of Fulda in Murray County, Minnesota.

Vic and Marcella Winter had six children: Carol Winter, Janice Winter, Ronald Winter, Barbara Winter, Judy Winter, and Randy Winter.
Victor Winter died on August 28, 1977, in Nobles County, Minnesota.
Ed and Lucille Winter had thirteen children: Bernice Winter, Joseph "Joe" Winter, Agnes Winter, Betty Lou Winter, Terry Winter, Marjorie Winter, Paulette Winter, Doug Winter, Rodney Winter, Mark Winter, Lynn Winter, Steve Winter, and Michael "Mike" Winter.
Edward Winter died on December 31, 1983, in Hennepin County, Minnesota.

Alvin "Bud" and Vivian Winter had five children: Thomas Winter, Jane (Winter) Sharbean, Cynthia (Winter) Dekker, Nancy Winter, and Michael Winter.
Alvin H. "Bud" Winter died on February 10, 1999.
Clifford "Kip" and Stella Tryon had eight children: Michael Tryon, Anthony Tryon, StevenTryon, Patrick Tryon, Sharon Tryon, Peter Tryon, Sandra Tryon, and Timothy Tryon.
Clifford Tryon died in February 1961, of a heart attack during a visit from California to celebrate Peter and Minnie Winter's 50th wedding anniversary. Stella later married Carl Rummans. Stella (Winter) Tryon Rummans died on August 26, 1998, with a last residence of Buena Park, Orange County, California.
Paul and Marcella "Honsie" Scully had six children: Gregory Scully, Patrick Scully, Jeffrey Scully, John Scully, Bill Scully, and Shannon Scully.
Marcella Scully died on February 12, 1995, in Ramsey County, Minnesota.
Robert and Ila Murphy had seven children: Wayne Murphy, Margaret Murphy, Jean Murphy, Barbara Murphy, Suzanne Murphy, James Murphy, and Sara Murphy.
