Descended from Thomas Barnum the immigrant. It is recorded but unproven that he was the son of Sir Francis Barnham of Hollingbourne, Kent, England, a long time member of parliament. Francis Barnham married Elizabeth Lennard, the daughter of Sampson Lennard and the Baroness Margaret Fiennes whose ancestry traces back to the Neville family and connected to those main players in the War of the Roses.

My grandmother Lettie Estelle Farr married William John Russell Manning in Utah. She is the daughter of Winslow Farr Jr. and Matilda Halverson, and a granddaughter of Winslow Farr Sr. and Olive Hovey Freeman, early pioneers in Utah. Her ancestry extends back to the early days of Massachusetts .
