Site Policies

People are generally very concerned about their personal information and the privacy and protection of that information. This website take personal privacy very seriously, but we also understand that one person's concept of privacy may be radically different from someone else's. For this reason we have developed the following rules:

1. Generally speaking, we will not publish the name of a living person without specific permission from that person. They will be listed with the given name of Living and their surname. Only data that is already publicly available will be listed. Other information which is not publicly available will be listed only with that person's expressed consent.



2. Whenever material is provided to us by a researcher, we will request the right to publish any information or images contained in that material. Said material will be published only with that researcher's expressed permission. Said researcher has the right to deny publication rights, however, we reserve the right to publish that material if we are able to acquire it from different researcher and that researcher grants permission to their material.



3. Any material available on this website may be used in another website or publication. All we ask is that you credit http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~tamgen/ and reference the site name as "Tammy's Genealogical Research".



4. We reserve the right to expand or alter this list of Site Policies as needed.
