The September term of the Circuit Court will Convene Monday next …. Among the felony cases set for trial next week is that of Frank Talbott indicted for manslaughter. . Talbott was the driver of an automobile which several months ago collided with a wagon driven by Ephram Brown on the Franconia Road, and in the collision Miss Flora Dyer, who was in the car with Talbott, received injuries that resulted in her death.

Acquitted Frank Talbott, the Franconia youth who was indicted for manslaughter in the death of Miss Flora Dyer, in March last, when an automobile driven by him struck a horse drawn wagon driven by Ephram Brown colored on the rolling Road, and injured Miss Dyer so badly that her death in the Alexandria Hospital following a day or two afterward was acquitted by a jury in the Fairfax Circuit Court, last week. Commonwealths Attorney Farr has no1 (no1 as in paper) prossed (prossed as in paper) the indictment against Brown.

The church was founded in 1868 and received into the Southern Baptist Convention the following year. The building was constructed in 1872 and has had many alterations over the years. The cemetery is adjacent to the church. Fairfax County Cemetery Survey Number: FX139; Virginia State Archaeological Number: 44FX1212.
