Bowers Cemetery adjoins a small white church. The church was originally called Mt. Horeb Primitive Baptist church. About ten years ago the structure was purchased by another denomination. Cemetery: Bowers Cemetery Location: Empire, Dodge Co., GA Directions: From the northeast intersection of US 23 and Ga. 257, go northeast on Ga257 to the railroad. Turn right on the paved road just before the railroad. Continue on this road and it will turn left over the same railroad tracks. Continue on and about a mile down the road will be Bowers Cemetery on the left.
