Maconite Killed in Car Crash

EASTMAN, Feb. 18-A young
Maconite was killed instantly early Sunday morning when the auto-mobile he was driving overturned several times on the Hawkinsville -Perry highway State patrol officers and Horne Funeral Home of Eastman identified the victim as David D. Horne, salesman for, Sears, Roebuck Company in Macon.
Representatives of Clark Funeral Home in Hawkinsville went to the scene, about three miles north of that city, shortly after the 1 a.m. mishap. The body was turned over to Horne Funeral Home, which will be in charge of arrangements.
Funeral services for the 27-year-old native of Dodge County will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Orphans Christian Church. The Rev. Frank L. Robertson will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. His wife, Mrs. Ruth Horne; parents, Mr. And Mrs. J. E. Horne, route 1, Empire; brothers, J. H. Horne and E. 0 survive Horne. Horne, both of Macon; F. L. Horne of Empire, Charles E. Horne of San Diego, Cal.; sisters Mrs. Ernestine Talbot of Berlin Germany and Miss Marine Horne of Empire.
