Katherine Fivecoat was the wife of Michael Fivecoat. She is my great, great, great, great grandmother (see Michael Fivecoat) in this cemetery.They are Native Americans and are listed in the Holmes County Cemetery Index Book and also in the list of names for Christy Chapel Cemetery as quote "Indians"...
The bottom of Katherine's stone reads aged about 82 years, so the year of 1751 for her birth year is approximate.
In spite of a report circulating on the Internet, here are NO Funfrocks at this cemetery. I have been there twice and carefully did some tombstone rubbings on Oct. 18, 2006. A nearby neighbor does not even know where this Cemetery is! It is hidden on a high hill and is very beautiful. There are 5 members of the Rizor family (they are Katherine & Michael's grandchildren) to the right of Katherine Fivecoat's grave.By: Linda Randles
