Roy A. Myers--Age 70 years of White House 147, Buffington, Pa., (New Salem) died Saturday, March 29, 1975 at 6:05 a.m. in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born July 5, 1903 at Springhill Twp., the son of Icie Myers and the late George Myers. He was a retired truck driver for the Smith Coal Conpany. In addition to his father he was preceded by one son. Surviving are his wife Eleanor (Baker) Myers and the following children; James Myers of Florida, Rose, John, Kenneth and Wendy Myers all of the home, four brothers; Frank and Elmer Myers, White House, Pa., Ray Myers of the state of Virginia, George Myers of York Run, Pa., two sisters; Mrs. Linsey (Grace) Gates, R.D. 1, Smithfield, Pa. and Mrs. Lawrence (Hazel) Smith, York Run, Pa. Friends are being received in the John F. Brownfield Funeral Home, Smithfield, today 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday until 1 p.m. the hour of service with George W. McLaughin of the White House Free Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in the Mount Moriah Cemetery, Smithfield.
