The majority  of the Patent Land claims will have come from the 1820  Act of Congress pertaining to public lands.  The signature date referenced below is the date the person  bought the land,  Do not confuse the 1820 on each one as the date of purchase, it pertains to the act allowing the purchase.  Some purchase dates after 1863 pertain to the Homestead Act.
