the road turn right, cemetery well be on left side of road. It is 2 miles from Highway 62 to the Shady Grove Cemetery. Ida L. Elliott Dungy Manry Birch was born in Limestone County, AL. 1860 to David M. and Sarah J. Elliott. Before the Civil
War the Elliott family owned and farmed over a 1000 acres of land. The 1900 Fulton County, AR. census list her as the wife of John Manry and list them as being married for 14 years, which would have been the year of 1886. there are four sons
listed three of them Walter, Either and Thomas were from John's previous marriage to Pheroby Pulley, who died Dec 1884. The other son listed, Samual Elmer is the only child of John and Ida Manry. The census list Ida as having six children
with three living, Ida married Thomas Dungy 1877/78 in Limestone County, AL. There are two sons of record from this marriage James, born 1878 and Nathan Lee, born Jul. 1882 in Limestone County, AL. Don't know when or how the other three
children died that are listed in 1900. Ida's third marriage was to a James Birch, 23 May 1902 in Fulton County, AR. and they lived in the Shady Grove Community. James died after 1910 and before 1920. Ida is listed on the Fulton County 1920
census as a widow living with her son Nathan Lee. Ida died in 1931 and is buried in the Shady Grove Cemetery. Do not know what happen to Ida's first husband, he may have died or they may have devorced.There is a record of a Thomas P. Dungy
being married in Limestone County, AL. 14 Dec 1889, this may be Ida's ex-husband or he may be the T.P. Dungy that died 11 Nov 1929 in Limestone County, AL.
