World War II: Trained at Fort Riley, Kansas, Served in European Theater of Operation, Franch and Germany with General George Patton's 3rd Army, as a Tank crew member. Enter Army 7 Oct 1942 and Separated from Service 11 Nov 1945 at Camp
Chaffee, Arkansas. Service Number was 38-291-348. Due to an extensive fire that occurred at the center in 1973, almost all of his service records stored at the NPRC were destoryed by the fire.
