Notes for FAY C. SAVAGE:

Family stories say that Great Uncle Fay was interested in Genealogy and the SAVAGE papers (a VERY Bad blue carbon onion skin) of the SAVAGE family history was his work. This I finally typed up in report form in the early 1970 and then also entered on handwritten family sheets and finally entered all in my first FTM 3.0 Dos program in 1995 as my very first computer family file.

I remember seeing great-uncle Fay only once - I was probably about 6 or 7 and he drew what I thought was great - quick pencil drawings of cartoon characters. The only one I really remember was "Little Orphan Annie"

Elden & I took Dad (Lynn Savage - brother of Carol) to Colorado Springs Friday Sept. 29th for Carol's funeral. Traditional Service was 9:00 A.M. First United Methodist Church Colorado Springs. Interment service was at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Marvin & Lyn Young hosted a family dinner at their home later with 24 relatives in attendance.

Aunt Carol is very interested in genealogy. She and Elden worked with Mrs. Dwight (Pinky) Cherry in early 1970's on the Cherry Family Book.
