Genealogy by genetics is the greatest addition to Genealogy since the creation of the Family Tree! Genetic genealogy has limitations to what it can and cannot prove, but the value of DNA testing is the ability to help find family connections by comparing the results of as few as two people. Y-DNA testing allows males to see if another male is a descendant from their direct paternal line.
The 12 marker Y-DNA test has become the world standard. You can order the 12 marker test first, and then "refine" your test later to the 25 or 37 marker test in order to verify an indicated "connection" without the need to resubmit another DNA sample!
By submitting your genetic sample to this private & confidential testing service you will be able to compare your sample to that of others and see if you have a long lost relative
already in the FTDNA Recent Ethnic Origins (REO) Database of genetic test results,
and be notified via e-mail if any connections are found in the growing database.
