Mr. Curry died in a Shreveport, La. hospital.
He was born April 17, 1914 in Smith County to the late Lonza William and Nancy Bertha Hicks Curry, and was a lifelong resident of the Lindale area. He serve in the Army during World War II and was former owner/operator of L.H. Curry Used Cars in Lindale. He was preceded in death by his wife Estelle Curry, in 1996, and son, Raymond Fredrick Curry.
Survivors include daughters, Sarah Merritt, Yuma, Ariz., Nancy Villers, Conroe, Sally Chitty, Grand Saline, and Elizabeth Wickware, Tyler; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Richard Wickware, Michael Warwick, John Gibson, Charles Davis, Jimmy Chitty and Jerry Ellis.
Family will receive friends 4-6 pm. Sunday at the funeral home.
