• On 15 Aug 1977 her obituary was published in the Newspaper. Mrs. Lillie Belle Chisum. Final rites for Mrs. Lillie Belle Chisum, 73, Rusk are set for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Wallace-Thompson funeral home chapel with the Rev. Mouzon Fletcher and Dr. George Atkinson officiating.
Burial will be in the Rusk Cedar Hill Cemetery at Rusk.
Mrs. Chisum died Sunday in a Jacksonville hospital following a lengthy illness.
She was a retired Rusk State Hospital employee and a member of the Rusk First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one brother Everett Cline of Reklaw; three sisters, Mrs. Jewell Gordon of Rusk, Mrs. Oleta Russell of Houston and Mrs. Ida Mae Hamilton of Dallas; two nieces; and one nephew.
Pallbearers will be Jack Quinn, Roy Isgate, B.P. Reed, Truman Foster, Winiford Black and Claude Manning.
