He married Pearl and she died shortly after their first child, Billy was born. Apparently they were living near Mt. Calm, because Pearl is buried there in the Mt. Calm Cemetery.
He then married Ora Spann, sister to Emmett Spann, husband to Blanche, Bill's sister. They lived in the Spring Hill area, Gregg County, Texas.
