20.  Elizabeth “Elspeth” HEIMBACH (4970); born 1662 in Seelbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened the 25th Sunday after Trinity.[1] married Johann Herman Otterbach (4969), son of Johannes Otterbach (4999) and Anna Stuell (5000), August 11, 1685 in Siegen, Nassau-Siegen, Germany;[2] died between 1705 and 1713 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[3]

 

     Johann Herman OTTERBACH (4969) was a "Fuhrmann" (carrier or carter) who transported goods and traded in them.[4] He was born circa 1664 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[5] He immigrated in April, 1714 from Nassau-Siegen, Germany to VA.[6] He died after 1748 in Old Germantown, Prince William Co., VA.[7]

     Children of Elizabeth Heimbach (4970) and Johann Herman Otterbach (4969) were as follows:

+       38.        i.    Anna Margarethe (4949), born 1686 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married Hans Jacob Holtzklau (4948).

         39.        ii.    Ellsbeth (4973); born 1689 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened the 2nd Sunday after Pentecost.[8] died 1772 in Germantown, Fauquier Co., VA.[9]

         40.      iii.    Johann Philipp (4978); born March 22, 1692 in Siegen, Nassau-Siegen, Germany;[10] died 1718 in VA.[11]

     He was christened on March 27, 1692 in St. Nicholas Reform Church, Siegen, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[12]

         41.       iv.    Johannes (4974); born May 6, 1693 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened on Jubilate Sunday;[13] died young.,[14]

         42.       v.    Johann Jacob (4972); born November 23, 1695 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened the 1st Sunday after Advent;[15] died January 30, 1696 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[16]    

+       43.       vi.    Elisabeth Cathrina (5035), born April 19, 1697 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married John Kemper (5034).

         44.     vii.    Marie Cathrina (4971); born November 5, 1699 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened at St. Niclai Reform, Siegen, Prussia.[17] married John Joseph Martin (5290) circa 1715;[18] died circa 1724 in VA.[19]

         45.     viii.    Johannes (4976);[20] born April 15, 1702 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany and christened at the St. Nicholas Reform Church in Siegen, Germany);[21] died in Germantown, VA.[22]

         46.       ix.    Anna Catharine (4977); born January 2, 1705 in Trupbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; Christened at the St. Nicholasi Reform Church in Siegen, Germany;[23] married Hermann Fischbach (5243), son of Philipp Fischbach (5227) and Elsbeth Heimbach (5236), circa 1725.[24]
