TN. Part of Trigg's 54th in SWVA. Deserted again on Apr 1, 1865 at Abingdon,
VA and took oath on Apr 17, 1865. He
was released north of the Ohio.
Described as 6' tall with a dark complexion, hair and eyes. Resident of Floyd Co., VA. Born in 1831 and died 1898. Buried in the abandoned Hylton Cemetery on
Rt. 221 in Floyd Co., VA.[20]
