     He was a farmer between 1850 and 1860 in Floyd Co., VA with $80 in personal property in 1860.[2],[3]

     Rebecca ARTHUR was born in 1792 in VA.[4]

       He was a farmer between 1850 and 1860 in the Western District of Floyd Co., VA with $600 in real estate in 1850.  In 1860 he is listed with $880 in real estate and $621 in personal property.[13],[14]

     Permelia BOOTH; "Milly," "Emily" was born on September 13, 1800 in VA.[15],[16]

     Celia EADENS was born in 1808 in Patrick Co., VA.[24]

D of the 54th VA INF at Jacksonville, VA.  Present on Jan 1, 1862.  Absent without leave Nov 1 through Dec 12, 1863.  Present on Dec 31, 1863.  On clothing receipt dated Aug 10, 1863.  Deserted and took oath on June 20, 1864.  Described as 6' with dark complexion and hair and black eyes.  He was released north of the Ohio River.  Age 47 in the Burk's Fork District on the 1890 Floyd Co., VA census.[29]

          195.         v.     Lewis Hylton; born 1844 in Floyd Co., VA;[30] died November 18, 1863 in Frank Ramsey Hospital, Baskerville, GA.[31]

     He began military service on October 1, 1861  when he enlisted in Co. D of the 54th VA INF at Jacksonville, VA.  Present on Jan 1, 1862.  Died at Frank Ramsey Hospital, Baskerville, GA on Nov 18, 1863.  Discharged papers prepared for disability on Nov 16, 1863.  Claim for pay and allowance filed by James J. Williams, attorney on Apr 25, 1864.  Resident of Floyd Co., VA.  Described as 29, 5'9 1/2" with a fair complexion, blue eyes and black hair.  Farmer.[32]

          196.        vi.     Rachel Hylton; born 1845 in Floyd Co., VA;[33] married Zebrum Keith circa 1860.[34]
