94.  Calvin Alexander6 ROSEBERRY (John5, Samuel4, James3, William2, Jesse1); born April 20, 1886 in Newbern, Pulaski Co., VA;[1] married Laura Alice Clark circa 1907;[2] died May 19, 1970 in Pulaski Co., VA, at age 84; buried in Thornspring Cemetery in Pulaski Co., VA.[3]

     He lived between 1910 and 1920 in Pulaski Co., VA; living with father-in-law, James Clark.[4],[5] He lived on May 23, 1959 in Pulaski Co., VA.[6]  His Social Security Number information was Roseberry, Calvin (Apr 20, 1886-May 1970); issued in Virginia.  Residence in Virginia and last known residence associated with Pulaski, Virginia after May 19, 1970.[7]  He left a will on May 7, 1970 in Pulaski Co., VA.

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF CALVIN A. ROSEBERRY, SR.

     I, Calvin A. Roseberry, Sr. of Pulaski, Virginia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my Last Will and Testament, hereby revoking all wills by me at anytime heretofore made.

     FIRST:  I desire that all of my just debts be paid.

     SECOND:  I hereby appoint my son, James Julius Roseberry and Adair Hall, Executors of this my will and I direct my executors hereby named, or either of them if both do not survive me, to sell at public or private sale all of my real estate and personal property wherever located upon such terms as they may deem feasible and practicable as soon after my death as practicable and after using so much of the proceeds of sale as required to pay the debts of my estate, distribute the remaining proceeds to my heirs according to the statute of descent and distribution.

Given under my hand this 7th day of May, 1970.

VIRGINIA:  IN THE CLERK'S OFFICE OF THE CIRCUIT COURT OF PULASKI COUNTY, MAY 21, 1970.

     It appearing to the Clerk of the Circuit Court that Calvin A. Roseberry, Sr. of Pulaski, Virginia died on May 19, 1970, and a paper writing signed by the said Calvin A. Roseberry, Sr. dated May 7, 1970, and purporting to be the Last Will and Testament of the said Calvin A. Roseberry, Sr. having this day been produced before the Clerk of the Circuit Court, and proved according to law by the oaths of Betty P. Scott and Mildred A. Keller, the subscribing witnesses thereto, who said that the said Calvin A. Roseberry, Sr. signed and acknowledged said paper writing as and for his Last Will and Testament in his presence thereto, being present at the same time and in the presence of each other; whereupon it is ordered that the said paper writing be and the same hereby is, established, probated and admitted to record as and for the true last will and testament of the said Calvin A. Roseberry, Sr., deceased.

     On motion of James J. Roseberry, one of the Executors named in the will, the Clerk doth appoint James J. Roseberry and T. Adair Hall as Co-executors of the Estate of Calvin A. Roseberry, Sr. and they have made oath as the law directs and entered into and acknowledged a a bond in the amount of Eight Thousand Dollars, ($8,000.00) conditoned and payable according to law, with Grace R. Hall as surety, and certificate is granted the said James J. Roseberry and T. Adair Hall, Co-executors for obtaining probate of said will in due form and letter of administration unto them as Co-executors as aforesaid.

     Laura Alice CLARK; daughter of James and Laura Clark was born on May 13, 1888 in VA.[9] She died on August 28, 1964 at age 76; buried in Thornspring Cemetery in Pulaski Co., VA.[10]

          155.         ii.     James Julius Roseberry; born 1910;[14] married Thelma Hylton December 16, 1933 in Pulaski Co., VA; ceremony-C. J. Walsh.[15]

     He was farmer on December 16, 1933 in Pulaski Co., VA.[16] He lived on May 21, 1970 in Abingdon, VA.[17]

          156.       iii.     Mary Chaffin Roseberry; born November 7, 1911;[18] died November 22, 1928 at age 17; buried in Thornspring Cemetery in Pulaski Co., VA. [19]

          157.        iv.     Gracie R. Roseberry; born 1915;[20] married T. Adair Hall circa 1940.

     She lived on May 21, 1970 in Pulaski Co., VA. [21]

          158.         v.     Nellie Roseberry; born 1916;[22] married William Smith circa 1940.[23]

     She lived on May 21, 1970 in Baltimore, MD.[24]

          159.        vi.     Callie Roseberry; born 1918;[25] married Jack Johnston circa 1940.[26]

          160.      vii.     Nellie Roseberry; born 1919;[27] married Chester Wrights circa 1940.[28]

          161.      viii.     Calvin Alexander Roseberry Jr.; born January 21, 1921;[29] died April, 1984 at age 63.[30]

     He lived on May 21, 1970 in Newport News, VA.[31] His Social Security Number information was issued in VA in April, 1984.[32]

95.  Sally B.6 ROSEBERRY (John5, Samuel4, James3, William2, Jesse1); born July 20, 1887 in Pulaski Co., VA;[34] married Clarence Wygall Rupe May 29, 1906 in Pulaski Co., VA; minister T. M. Bane;[35] died December 30, 1911 in Pulaski Co., VA, at age 24.[36]

     Clarence ROOPE was born circa 1885.

     Children of Sally B.6 Roseberry and Clarence Roope were:

          163.          i.     Charlie B.7 Rupe; born 1911.

     Clarence Wygall RUPE; son of Ruben & L. Rupe. He was born on January 11, 1884 in Pulaski Co., VA.[37]  He died in December, 1966 in Kingston, WV, at age 82.[38]  He was saw milling on May 29, 1906 in Pulaski Co., VA.[39]  His Social Security Number information was Rupe, Clarence (Jan 11, 1884-Dec 1966); issued in West Virginia.  Residence in West Virginia and last known residence associated with Oak Hill, West Virginia.[40]
