He lived on March 10, 1891 in Pulaski Co., VA and was listed as a farmer.[5] He lived in 1900 in the Pearisburg District, Giles Co., VA.[6] He lived between 1910 and 1920 in Pulaski Co., VA.[7],[8]

LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF GEORGE M. ROSEBERRY
I, George M. Roseberry, of Pulaski, Virginia, being of sound of disposing mind and memory, do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, hereby revoking all wills, or codicils to wills by me at anytime heretofore made.
FIRST: I direct that all my just debts be paid as soon as possible after my death.
SECOND: I give, devise and bequeath all of my property, both real and personal, and howsoever evidenced or wheresoever situate, to my wife, Nancy G. Roseberry, during her lifetime, and at her death, the real estate and so much of the personal property as has not been expended by wife, Nancy G. Roseberry, during her lifetime, shall pass and descend equally and jointly in fee simple to my two (2) children, Annabelle Roseberry Bane and Charlie M. Roseberry, or to the survivor, if either of them should predecease me; that is to say, should either of my two (2) said children die before I do, then the entire remainder of my estate shall pass to the surviving child, after the death of my wife, Nancy G. Roseberry.
THIRD: In the event, Nancy G. Roseberry, should predecease me, then my entire estate, both real and personal and howsoever evidenced and wheresoever situate, I give, devise and bequeath absolutely and in fee simple, equally and jointly to my two (2) children, Annabelle Roseberry Bane and Charlie M. Roseberry or to the survivor, if either of them should predecease me; that if to say, should either of my said two (2) children die before I do, then my entire estate shall pass to the surviving child.
FOURTH: I nominate and appoint Charlie M. Roseberry as executor of this, my last will and testament.

It appearing that George M. Roseberry died on the 21st day of July, 1955, and that at the time thereof, he was a resident of the County of Pulaski, Virginia, and a paper writing signed by the said George M. Roseberry, dated July 29, 1952, purporting to be the true last will and testament of the said George M. Roseberry having this day been produced before the clerk of the Circuit Court of Pulaski County, Virginia, and proved according to law by the sworn oath of John W. Deeds, one of the subscribing witnesses thereto who was sworn and testified that the said George M. Roseberry signed and acknowledged said paper writing to be his true last will and testament in his presence and in the presence of Sara G. Slaydon and Eugene L. Nuckols, the other subscribing witnesses thereto, all three (3) of the subscribing witnesses and the said testator being present at the same time and in the presence of each other; whereupon, it being made to appear that Charlie M. Roseberry, the executor named in said will, had died, and there being no other Executor named in said will, on motion of Nancy G. Roseberry, widow of George M. Roseberry, deceased, the Clerk doth appoint Samuel F. Gregory, Administrator, c.t.a. of the estate of the said George M. Roseberry, deceased, and it is ORDERED that the said paper writings be, and the same hereby is, established, probated and admitted to record as and for the true last will and testament of the said George M. Roseberry, deceased.
On motion of Samuel F. Gregory, who made oath as the law directs and together with William F. Gregory, as his surety, entered into acknowledged a bond in the penalty of Fifteen Hundred ($1500.00) Dollars conditioned and payable according to law, cetificate is granted the said Samuel F. Gregory for obtaining letters of administration on the estate of the said George M. Roseberry, deceased.
