1.  William1 FOSTER was born circa 1686 in Prince William Co., VA[1] and married Hannah Elizabeth Payne on May 8, 1710 in Northumberland Co., VA.[2]  He died before December 7, 1767 in Northumberland Co., VA.[3]

     Hannah Elizabeth PAYNE, the widow of Daniel Payne, was born circa 1690.[4]

     Children of William1 Foster and Hannah Elizabeth Payne were as follows:

          2.        i.    Robert2 Foster; born October 7, 1711 in St. Stephens Parish, Northumberland Co., VA;[5],[6] married Sarah (--?--) 1740 in Northumberland Co., VA;[7] died February 22, 1768 in Prince William Co., VA, at age 56.[8],[9]

          3.       ii.    William Foster; born July 15, 1714 in Northumberland Co., VA;[10] married Jean (--?--) circa 1734;[11] died April 10, 1779 in Prince William Co., VA, at age 64.[12],[13]

          4.     iii.    Elizabeth Foster; born circa 1717 in Northumberland Co., VA;[14] died before 1800 in Prince William Co., VA.[15]

+        5.      iv.    Isaac Foster, born July 2, 1719 in Northumberland Co., VA; married Sarah Hughes.

          6.       v.    George Foster; born August 14, 1723 in Northumberland Co., VA;[16],[17] married Margaret Grigsby December 22, 1746 in Prince William Co., VA;[18] died January 3, 1778 in Prince William Co., VA, at age 54; cause of death was smallpox.[19],[20]
