73.  Henry KEISTER (2968); born January 20, 1829 in Pendleton Co., WV;^[1] married Eliza Allen (2975) February 28, 1850 in Pendleton Co., VA;^[2] married Elizabeth Custard Mallow Hoover (2976);^[3] died May 22, 1901 at age 72.^[4]

     He was a farmer with real estate valued at $1700 and personal property valued at $315 in 1860 in Pendleton Co., VA.^[5]

     He began military service before July 28, 1862.  In the Civil War, he enlisted in the 62nd VA INF, 1st Co. A.  His service record follows.

     1st Co. A & 2nd Co. K. Elected 1st Lt. on 7/28/62. Present on all rolls until 12/31/64 when he was absent

sick. Born on 1/20/29, a resident of Pendleton Co. WV and died on 5/22/1901.^[6]

     Eliza ALLEN (2975) was born in 1823 in Albermarle Co., VA.^[7] She died after 1869.^[8]

       166.     viii.    Henry L. (4197); born 1862 in WV.^[16]

       167.       ix.    Edmund D. (4198); born 1866 in WV.^[17]

       168.       x.    David M. (4199); born 1869 in WV.^[18]

     Elizabeth Custard Mallow HOOVER (2976) was born circa 1830. She died between 1855 and 1938.^[19]

     There were no children of Henry Keister (2968) and Elizabeth Custard Mallow Hoover (2976).
