4. Gotthard BUSCH (5177); born 1425 in the Haardt Ironworks in Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany; married Gertrud Scholt
(5178), daughter of Henchen Scholt
(5195), circa 1450; died 1498 in the Buschgotthardshuetten Iron-works in
Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[1]
He lived in 1455 in the Buschhuetten Iron-works settlement in
Bottenbach, Nassau-Siegen, Germany. Just north of Weidenau, the residence of
the two brothers here became known (probably) as the "Flanders" or
"Flender" and the Busch sons born here were called by the surname
"Flender." He founded the Buschgotthardshuetten, an iron-works or
"hammer" now a part of the city of Weidenau circa 1463 in Weidenau,
Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[2]
Gertrud SCHOLT
(5178) was born in 1430 in Germany. She died in 1502 in the Buschgotthardshuetten Iron-works settlement in
Weidenau, Nassau-Siegen, Germany.[3]

He inherited his father's interest in the Hammer of
