An Everlasting Love
It starts with just a smile
Then a touch and then a hug
This is the beginning
Of an everlasting love.
No one brings you so much pleasure
No one cause you such stress
No one promised they would all be
Blissful days of happiness.
There are going to be some potholes
In the rocky road ahead
Ups and downs, troubles and trials
Days you'll wished you'd stayed in bed.
Then again there will be some days
Filled with flowers, joys, and thrills
Days when love and laughter flourish
And your heart just overspills.
Sometimes it's tough, sometimes it's fun;
A love not quite like any other.
Those prepared to meet the challenge
Shall ever be endeared as mother.
