JAMES SWINSCOE 1892

This is the last will and testament of me James Swinscoe of Beech Dell Sheffield in the County of York Hard Wood Scale Cutter I bequeath the following pecuniary legacies namely to my brother Walter Scott Swinscoe the sum of sixty pounds to my brother Thomas Swinscoe the sum of twenty pounds and to my sister Elizabeth Tyas Widow the sum of twenty pounds and subject to the payment of the said legacies I devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate to which I shall be entitled at my decease unto my nephew John Whitworth Swinscoe with whom I now reside absolutely And I appoint the said John Whitworth Swinscoe sole Executor of this my will and hereby revoke all other testimentary writings In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty first day of December One Thousand eight hundred and ninety two.

as and for his last will and testament in

the presence of us present at the same time

who at his request in his presence and in

the presence of each other have hereunto

subscribed our names as attensting witnesses

the word "fifty" in the sixth line of the

said will having been first struck out in

ink and the word "sixty" having been inserted

therein between the fifth and sixth lines of

the said will.

On 12th day of April 1894 probate of this will was granted at Wakefield to John Whitworth Swinscoe the sole Executor.
