HENRY SWINSCOE 1869

This is the last Will and Testament of me Henry Swinscoe of Hornby Place Andover Street in Sheffield in the County of York Salesman I give and bequeath all the personal property whatsoever and wheresoever which may belong to me at my decease unto my brother James Swinscoe of Hornby Place aforesaid for his absolute use subject to the payment thereout of the ? legacies bequeathed by this my Will and to be bequeathed by my Codicil thereto I bequeath the legacies of Sterling money follwoing monthly to my Sister Elizabeth Tyas Widow ten pounds to Maria Sheldon of Hornby Place aforesaid five pounds to Margaret Askew of Hornby Place aforesaid five pounds to the Treasurer for the time being of the Cherry Tree Orphanage at Totley in the County of Derby in Aid of that Institution Nineteen pounds for which the receipt of such Treasurer shall be a sufficient discharge And I appoint the said James Swinscoe sole Executor of this my Will In witness whereof I have hereunder set my hand this eighth day of February one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine Henry Swinscoe signed by the said Testator Henry Swinscoe as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his sight and presence and in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as attesting witnesses

Proved at Wakefield the 9th day of June 1869 by the oath of James Swinscoe the Brother the sole Executor to whom Administration was granted. The Testator Henry Swinscoe was late of Hornby Place, Andover Street, Sheffield in the County of York, Salesman and died 9th day of February 1869 at Hornby Place aforesaid Under £450 - Messrs Broomhead & Wrightman Solicitors, Sheffield
