ANNE SWINSCOW 1786
In the name of God Amen, this is the last will and testament of me Anna Swinscow in the County of Derby Widow being of sound and disposing mind and memory praised be God for the same FIRST I will that all my just debts funeral expenses the charges of proving and all other charges attending the Excecution of this my Will be paid by my Executors hereinafter mentioned by and out of my Real Estate hereafter given and devised ALSO I give and bequeath to my Son in Law Joseph Dunn of Monyash the sum of Twenty pounds ALSO I give and bequeath to my Son in Law John Cottrill of Fairfield aforesaid the sum of Twenty pounds ALSO I give and bequeath to all and every my Grandchildren whatsoever that may be living at my decease the sum of five shillings a piece All which said Legacies I will and direct shall be paid within twelve months next after my decease by and out of my Real Estate and do hereby authorize and impower my Trustees and Executors hereafter mentioned to raise and advance so much money upon my said real estate as will enable them to pay the same aforesaid legacies by Mortgage or otherwise as it shall to them seem proper ALSO I give and bequeath to my grandson William Swinscow my Writing Desk ALSO I give and bequeath to my Grandson Samuel Deakin my chest ALSO I give and bequeath to my Grandaughter Elizabeth Swinscow my Bed Bedding and all necessaries belonging thereto ALSO I give and bequeath to my Grandson Thomas Swinscow my Bible ALSO I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Cottrill all and singular my Wearing apparel my China and all my Potts whatsoever and my Corner Cupboard ASLO I give and devise all and singular my Real Estate situate in Fairfield or elsewhere in the County of Derby unto William Swinscow my Grandson upon him ataining the age to Twenty One years and in case he shall die before he shall attain such age then I give and devise the same estate to Thomas Swinscow, another of my Grandsons, upon his ataining the age of Twenty One years and in case he shall happen to die before he sahll attain such age Then I give and devise the same to Timothy Swinscow, another of my Grandsons upon him attaining the age of Twenty One years and in case he shall happen to die before he sahll attain such age Then I give and devise the same to John Swinscow another of my Grandsons upon his attaining the age of Twenty One years of age TO hold to such my aforesaid Grandson as shall become intitled thereto as aforesaid upon his attaining the Age of Twenty One years his Heirs and Assigns forever AND I do hereby order and direct that my Trustees hereafter named shall collect and receive the Rents I _____ and profits of all and singular my said Estates amd apply the same in manner herein after mentioned that is to say in the first place to pay and dishcharge all Interest moneys that shall or may be due upon or by Virtue of any Mortgage that now is or hereafter shall be charged or incumbered upon my estate and after payment thereof to reimburse to themselves all Charges and Expenses that shall or may be incurred in Collecting the same and the remainder to pay the same and every part thereof to Jane Swinscow, my Daughter in Law and her Assigns until such the Grandson as aforesaid shall become legally intitled to the same estate AND Lastly I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Sons in Law Joseph Dunn and John Cottrill joint Trustees and Executors of this my Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me at any time heretofore made IN WITNESS whereof The said Anna Swinscow have hereunto set my hand and Seal this 29th Day of August in the year of our Lord 1786
