"Coats of Arms"

You might be interested to know that the "pictures" on armorial bearings are not "standard". The individual artist can render them as desired. The description of the contents is what is awarded.
The description for the MacSweeney arms is:

Argent on a fess vert between three boars passant sable a lizard passant proper

Here for your amusement are renditions of the "MacSuibhne" coats of arms (Associated with the Sweeney Clan in Eire)
MacSweeney
and the three territorial arms of the three MacSuibhne Lordships in Donegal.
MacSuibhne na Fanad MacSuibhne na dTuatha MacSuibhne na Banagh

While most heraldic systems actually restrict the bearing of arms to the primary male descendants of the person who was awarded the grant of arms, the Irish system is actually more like what most people think heraldry is...Irish arms are in fact family symbols and could be borne by clan members.

This being said however, I do not yet have evidence of where the earliest "Sweney" immigrants emigrated from. If you spell your name other than "Sweeney" your ancestors may have left Ireland before the award of arms to the Sweeney clan.
I plan to keep digging on this one until I get a better source.

If you are interested in further information on the "ancient" history of the Suibhne clan in Ireland and Scotland, I strongly encourage you to visit the Clan website at www.sweeneyclan.com and order their booklets on the history of the clan.
