Dearly beloved husband of Ronnie and loving father of Kay, Kenneth, beloved son of Edna Barrs and the late Walter Barrs, brother of Clive and Eric, dear son of Mr and Mrs W Evans, brother in law of Moina, Margaret, Kath, John and Leo. Walter Keith Barrs was also known as Keith Barrs. Sergeant Walter Keith BARRS 69769. He was born on 18 July 1924 at Concord, New South Wales, Australia. He was the son of Walter Barrs and Edna Pretoria May Philpott. Walter Keith Barrs was Radio Mechanic in 1942 at Abbotsford, New South Wales, Australia.1 He began military service on 31 August 1942 Type: Military Service Military Entry - Air Force.1 He married Veronica Mary Paxton, daughter of John Alexander Paxton and Phyllis Irene Phoebe O'Loughlin, on 24 March 1945 at St Oswalds, Haberfield, New South Wales, Australia.2,3 Walter Keith Barrs was Type: Military Discharge Discharge on 5 February 1948.1 He died on 7 August 1961 at Abbotsford, New South Wales, Australia, at age 37. He was buried on 8 August 1961 at Rookwood Cemetery, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
