- I have different dates for her; one set is from the Bedford county Cemetery Book, the other from a family Bible in Tennessee. Also the surname appears differently. In the family Bible her family is recorded as Landis, other articles as well.

- Mrs Phoebe Landers, Mr William B. Landers' mother, Mrs. Phoebe Ann Landers died at her home newar Columbia, Thursday July 16, 1825 aged 72 yrs. She was a widow her husband having preceded her 12 years before. Burial in Bedford County at Wheeler Cemetery near Hickory Hill, Friday. She leaves 4 sons, 1 daughter, 3 sisters & 3 brothers
