ROBERT "BOB" FRYE
1924 - 2007ROBERT "BOB" FRYE, 82, of Salt Rock, W.Va., left us to be with God on July 4, 2007. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, July 8, 2007, at Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel in Barboursville. The Reverends Scott Ferguson and Stephen Issacs will preside. Robert's body will be buried in the Frye Cemetery at Roach, W.Va. He was born on September 23, 1924, the youngest son of the late Caleb and Dorothy Farley Frye. He was a Christian, and he was a friend to everyone he met. One of six children, Robert grew up on a farm during the depression and served aboard the USS San Diego in the Pacific during World War II. He belonged to Salt Rock United Methodist Church and Minerva Lodge #13 AF&AM, and retired from CSX Railroad. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Frye and Winnie Nelson; and his brother, John Frye. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Frye of Salt Rock; his son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Carolyn Frye of Charleston, W.Va.; his stepson, Ken Neundorf of Albuquerque, N.M.; two brothers and sister-in-law, Sherman and Winnie Fry of Barboursville, W.Va., and Homer Burl Frye of Salt Rock; two grandsons, Trevor Frye and Joe Neundorf; one granddaughter and her husband, Tanda Neundorf and Les Chard; and many nieces and nephews.
