Item offered on eBay November 2005:

This stampless letter has a circular date stamp for PERRYMANSVILLE Md., a matching numeral 5 cent rate, and is addressed to John Jay, Esq., Halls X Roads, Harford county, Md., and is a one half a page letter written by W.A. Patterson. The headline is Pryman's [?] Depot, April 17th, 1851.

The letter reads:

"The legal title of "Horne's [?] Point", will not effectually pass to your sisters by a Deed from Prestman as Trustee until the sale has been ratified by the Court of Chancery, this will be done shortly. I have prepared the Deed but will not have it executed until the order of ratification is passed."
