Residence 1929-1943 518 East Glenarm Street, Madison Heights, Pasadena--house originally belonging to Anna Tewksbury McKeon Hunter, residence of Frank and Anna after their marriage

Mary Eva Grier was born in Oakmont, PA, the daughter of William Watson Grier and Susan Miller.  Eva was an honors graduate of Mount Holyoke College and had been chair of the English Department at Muskingum College.  She and Frank were married in 1905.

Anna Tewksbury McKeon was born in LaSalle, Illinois. daughter of Charles W. and Lydia Tewksbury. Charles Tewksbury and his son George were associated with the Western Cottage Organ Co. in LaSalle. Anna married John McKeon, a New York banker. McKeon died in 1916, leaving Anna a wealthy widow who moved to Pasadena sometime around 1922.
