 Annoncement is made
of the marriage of Mrs. Theodore Tyler (Louise
Shepard) and Ralph Martin Shaw which took place
on Tuesday in the chapel of Trinity Methodist
church, with the Rev. John M. Mc Gann, rector of
Trintiy, performing the ceremony.

Notes: Louise Shepard, the daughter of Thomas H.
Shepard, was first married to Chicago lawyer
Theodore Robb Tyler on 08 Oct 1902. He died in
Chicago on 16 Apr 1913. They were the parents of
Louise and Thomas Tyler. Ralph M. Shaw, whom she
married on 29 Sep 1914 was first married to Mary
Stephens, daughter of Redmond Stephens and Louis
(Brier) on 29 Aug 1896 and were the parents of
one child, Ralph M. Shaw, Jr. Mary passed away on
08 Jul 1913. - pdp

Mr. and Mrs. Charles
H. Burras of River Forest have announced the
marriage of their daughter, Teresa to Lowell
Barr. Mrs. and Mrs. Barr are spending their
honeymoon at Macatawa, Mich., and will live in
Grand Rapids.Additional Notes: Teresa was
born in 1901 and was the sister of Ruth and
Helen. Her mother, Charlotte Richey Meredith, was
the daughter of William Morton Meredith, who was
the Director of the Bureau of Engraving.
Although
their wedding anouncement indicates they were to
make their home in Michigan, only their eldest
child, Charles Burras Barr was born there. They
afterwards returned to the Village of River
Forest and made their home at 519 Park Avenue in
Cook Co., Illinois where Lowell was a salesman
for security bonds. -pdp

|March 19, 1916Betrothal to Miss Mary Green of
Greenwich Announced
The engagement of
Miss Mary Green, daughter of A. W. Green of
Greenwich, Conn. to Norman P. Ream of this city
became known yesterday.
Miss Green and her
father, who is the President of the National
Biscuit Company, are at the Hotel Plaza, where
they spend their winters. The marriage of her
sister, Miss .Josephine Green to Lucius P.
Ordway, Jr., took place early in the Winter at
the Plaza, and Miss Green acted as her sister's
maid of honor.
Mr. Ream is the
son of the late Norman B. Ream, who died last
February, leaving a large fortune. His sisters
are Mrs. Redmond D. Stephens and Mrs. John L.
Kemmerer, and his brothers are Robert C., Louis
Marshall, and Edward K. Ream. He lives with his
mother at 903Park Avenue, and belongs to the Aero
and Essex County Clubs and Squadron A.
No date has been
set for the wedding.
